BCA School Board
The BCA school board is a governance committee that has members of Bethel Temples Staff, Elder Board, School Staff and concerned parents from BCA families. The Senior Pastor of Bethel Temple is the Chairperson of the school board.
The School Board’s objective is to provide parents. teachers, and students with the best learning environment possible.
The School Board sets the policies of BCA, including tuition and fundraising, and assists the staff in meeting the needs of the school (such as BCA staffing, students and parents’ concerns and questions). The school board makes recommendation to the BCA Staff on improvements to the environment and curriculum for the benefit of both the students and staff of BCA.
The School Board attempts to find additional revenue avenues, which helps maintain a very stable and affordable tuition for parents with children at BCA, or for those looking for a Christ centered education for their children.
The BCA School Board is a diverse committee of volunteers who have a wide variety of backgrounds and skills. This diversity helps the board approach solutions from many perspectives.
Another function of the board is in resolving differences between students, parents, and staff members of BCA when necessary.
