The BCA teachers and staff members welcome you. BCA teachers are all licensed by the state of Ohio Department of Education. Each teacher and staff member is also a true believer in the Word of God and demonstrates daily that Jesus lives in his or her heart. We take particular care to know that each member of the BCA faculty and staff are called to their job as a ministry.

All of our teachers have a BS degree or higher with an accredited college or university. Our tutors and many BCA teachers have gone on to earn their master’s degrees in education. In addition some are accredited with ACSI.

Most of our teachers have been serving the Lord at BCA for 7 to 16 years. Most teachers who come to BCA want to stay because God has blessed our staff with true unity.

The school is a member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and most of our staff go to convention every two years to learn more and to further their professional development.

Mrs. Roenn, our principal of 9 years, has been with the academy for 23 years and has taught most grade levels in the school. She and her husband have also taught “Growing Kids God’s Way” (a parenting class) for several years. Mrs. Roenn has two daughters who have long since graduated from Bethel Christian Academy. Her years in the classroom started as a public school teacher in Fairlawn and Berea city Schools. That experience along with her parenting class teaching experience and her experience as a mom add to the stability of the school. You can be sure that she will always make time for talking to you should the need arise.
